Rowde’s Site Selection
For the Devizes Area Neighbourhood Plan

A neighbourhood plan can provide the following benefits to a local community: a) Allocate sites for development you want to secure in your area b) Include policies to influence/guide development as it comes forward, for example through design matters and housing composition c) Protect key local assets – community facilities, heritage assets, important views, local green spaces and more d) Secure contributions to new and improved facilities, green infrastructure and active travel e) Receive a higher level of CIL or new Infrastructure Levy contributions accruing to the Parish (25% rather than 15%).
Rowde joined the Devizes Area Neighbourhood Plan Group in 2020.
It is your time to have your say about which sites should go forward for development. P|ease join us on Wednesday 23th April, 6pm.

Parish Council Elections
There will be a Parish Council election in Rowde on May 1st 2025.
If you would like to become a Parish Councillor, please complete the nomiation form, available through this link. Please read below for further details on the election process.
The Village fete will be held on Saturday 31st May 2025.
The team are planning a fund-raising event, a Vintage Cream Tea, on Saturday 29th March in the Village Hall. There are also plans to hold an Open Gardens in the village on Saturday 28th June if residents would like to be involved.
